Have your children read a selection silently before reading it out loud. This helps build confidence and understanding.

Our Thanks to Everyone

Many wonderful people work together to create a successful PARP week. We would like to recognize their involvement and show our appreciation for making this event a pleasure to undertake.

Staff participation is important to the success of any PTA program. We thank the entire Stratford Road School staff for their support and spirit all week long. Special thanks to our teacher committee for their valuable input and administration's encouragement of this event:

The Staff at the Children's Center, Plainview-Old Bethpage Public Library welcomed our students and made our raffle a success.

With much appreciation, we thank the Gronich family, who hosted our PARP web-site.

An especially big thanks to all the parents and children who participated all week - your enthusiasm celebrates the importance of reading!
