Set aside a regular reading time at home. Make it a family participation activity.

Our Thanks to Everyone

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mrs. Weinstein, Ms. Leiboff and all the teachers of the Stratford Road School. Without their participation, PARP 2003 could never be the success that it is. An extra special thank you goes to our PTA committee members for their tireless efforts and to the many volunteers who contributed their time to make PARP 2003 happen.

We extend our special thanks to the following staff who assisted us in planning the PARP program activities:

Ms. Myra Brand Ms. Dee Dee Edwards Ms. Anna Hipshman
Ms. Kim Krage Ms. Susan LaViola Ms. Francine Leiboff
Ms. Joanne Levy Mr. George Manolakes Ms. Judy Montana
Mr. Andrew Paskal Ms. Wendy Schwartz Ms. Gail Weinstein
Ms. Jodie Yerys

Reading is important to your child's future. Together we can help establish good reading habits that last a lifetime. At this time, we would also like to thank the following organizations for their generous support this year:

  • New York Liquid Asset Fund (NYLAF)
  • BigNoseBird.Com, Inc.
  • L.L. Weans
  • Scholastic, Inc.
  • Trio Hardware
We invited several community leaders and people of different occupations from around town to read to our children on Guest Reader Day. Special thanks goes to those readers for taking the time from their busy schedules to read to our students.

Our thanks to all the reading partners at home. Once PARP is officially over, we encourage you to continue reading with your child every day!
